UU Gatherings Fall 2017 - Spring 2018

We meet on the first and third Sunday from September through June,
at 11:00 AM (service) and have social time after.

We start on the third Sunday of September to avoid Labor Day weekend.

2017

September 17 - Water Communion - bring water from your summer to unite with others.
​If you didn't gather any, tap water is fine and we'll have some too so you can participate!

October 1 - Addressing White Supremacy - led by Anna Bush

October 15 - POWER - When we hear the word "Power," what sort of person do we think of? And what does this tell us about our culture? What human characteristics would have been considered "Powerful" in humanity's early days, and how have these changed as people began the experiment with overpowering the environment? And why are electricians paid so well in our society? We'll examine these and several other questions. Led by visiting pastor John Snodgrass.

November 5 - Race Unity Circle with guest speaker Jil St. Ledger-Roty.

November 19 - Black & Pink Holiday Card-Writing Party - This is an opportunity to help elevate the voices, stories, and leadership of incarcerated LGBTQ folks and inspire immediate collective action towards abolition. All materials provided. Led by Anna Bush.

December 3 - Chalica! led by Sadie Jay-Edwards.

December 17 ​- Compassionate Communication led by Corinne Potter

January 7 - Singing for Our Lives - and Fun! led by Barbara Dyskant

January 21- The Democratic Process - our fifth principle: The right of conscience and the use of the democratic process within our congregations and in society at large - led by Sadie Jay-Edwards
